You Make a Difference

We can’t do it without your help and support. But can you really make a difference? Does your contribution really matter? In a word, yes!

Unfortunately, demand for Heart Institute services is increasing. There is a growing gap between what we need to do and what we can do. Government funding can only do so much. Overall, research is becoming bigger, more complicated, and more expensive. Research funding in Canada is becoming limited, and there is more competition for the fewer dollars that are available.

This is why your support is so vital. To help close that gap. To ensure the Heart Institute continues to provide the best possible cardiovascular care to the people who need it. To help our research remain at the forefront. To teach new generations of healthcare the best we can.

Your contribution, regardless of the amount, matters in so many ways. Here are some examples of how contributions from other people like you have helped to make a difference.
