Heather Sherrard is Vice President of Clinical Services at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She is responsible for the clinical services staff at the Institute.

Background

Heather Sherrard received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa. She is a senior health care administrator and researcher with 20 years of experience in nursing and 10 years experience in senior health services management. Heather holds two academic appointments with the School of Nursing and with the Masters in Health Administration at the University of Ottawa. She speaks at many conferences on the issues of cardiovascular care and health and has a particular interest in women and cardiovascular disease.
