Overview

Cardiovascular Devices focuses on medical devices and technology and encompass all aspects of the Heart Institute’s mandate, namely, patient care, research, and education and training. The Medical Devices Centre was established in 1998 when the Director of Cardiovascular Devices, Tofy Mussivand, was selected as the Chair of Medical Devices by the University of Ottawa.
