Overview

The Canadian Molecular Imaging Centre of Excellence (CMICE) is a joint collaboration between the Heart Institute and Nordion. The laboratory is developing alternate isotopes for use in patient imaging and research into new therapies for heart disease. Physicians and researchers want to see more efficient tracers, which allow them to see inside the human and animal and provide important detail about blood flow but with less radiation.
