In this session, we will explain what is peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and the importance of rehabilitation on walking, risk factor control and quality of life for patients with this condition. We will also share our experience with Canada’s first dedicated PAD rehabilitation program at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
