Does shortening the message enable escape from inflammation in coronary artery disease?
1) To understand how a transcription cofactor suppresses inflammation in macrophages.
2) How the mRNA for this transcription cofactors gets shorter with inflammation by a mechanism of alternative polyadenylation. WHat is alternative polyadenylation and what does it do?
3) How a genetic variant prevents this shortening and what the consequences are of this effect.
