OTTAWA, May 15, 2026 — The Ottawa Heart Institute is marking its 50th anniversary in 2026, celebrating five decades of leadership in cardiovascular care, groundbreaking research, and education. Since opening on May 11, 1976, the Heart Institute has become a recognized leader in heart health, and the sole provider of specialized cardiac care for the people of Ottawa and the surrounding region.
