Norm Odjick is a senior executive and experienced board member with more than two decades of leadership in governance, strategic planning, and organizational management. He has served as Director General of the Algonquin Anishinabeg Nation Tribal Council since 2004, where he oversees operations, budgeting, staffing, and complex partnerships in both English and French.

Norm brings extensive board and governance experience, including service with the National Capital Commission, the University of Ottawa Board of Governors, the Native Benefits Plan Retirement and Investment Committees, and the Caisse Populaire Desjardins de la Haute-Gatineau. His background includes financial oversight, investment stewardship, public-sector accountability, and community-focused leadership.

A member of Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, Norm is recognized for his thoughtful leadership, sound judgment, and commitment to service. He is pleased to contribute his experience to the Ottawa Heart Institute's Board of Directors, as it is an organization for which he has much respect and appreciation.
