Grant A. Jameson is a corporate director, consultant and retired lawyer. He currently provides advisory services to boards and corporations through his consultancy, Beattie House Associates. Grant practiced corporate and commercial law in Ottawa until his retirement from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was Ottawa Managing Partner. The University of Ottawa Heart Institute was one of his clients for many years.

Following his retirement, Grant was appointed Fairness Commissioner of the Province of Ontario from 2017 to 2019.

Grant brings over four decades of experience as a business lawyer advising shareholders, boards of directors, corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and charities on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. Throughout his career, Grant has volunteered and served in numerous leadership positions for professional, community and charitable organizations including those involved with the arts, culture, 2SLGBTQ+ and healthcare.

He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Community Foundation and is Corporate Secretary and member of the Board of Governors of the National Trust for Canada.

In February 2025, Grant was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of: “His lifelong dedication to community as a distinguished lawyer, community leader and arts patron..."
