On December 24, 2015, I successfully underwent heart surgery. A triple bypass!
I’m 86 years old and still offer programming on the in-house TV channel at the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa Mother House, where I live. The programming airs daily for our elderly sisters and the patients in the two infirmaries at the Mother House.
I make time for long walks outdoors on a regular basis.
I was very well taken care of during my stay and was able to go home on December 31, 2015!
I want to thank the excellent staff, doctors, nurses, and volunteers at the Institute. ♥️ I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m eternally grateful to everyone, and I hope the Institute continues to thrive for many years to come!
