Join us for Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day 2026. This event is focused on raising awareness, sharing information, and helping people learn about heart valve disease (HVD).
The team from the Centre for Valvular Heart Disease (CVHD) will be onsite to answer questions, provide education, and offer free heart valve screenings through the Heart Valve Mobile Screening Program.
Attendees can also:
- Enjoy coffee and healthy snacks
- Win door prizes

This event is open to anyone:
- Members of the public
- People at risk of heart valve disease
- Family members and caregivers
Heart valve screenings
- Walk-in only (no pre-booking required)
- Conducted onsite by trained healthcare professionals
- The free mobile heart valve screening program is open to individuals 65 and older who do not have a known heart condition
