OTTAWA, September 9, 2025 — Heart disease remains a leading cause of death in Canada — but that could be about to change.
Media are invited to a pivotal announcement as the Ottawa Heart Institute unveils its 2025–2030 strategic plan — a visionary, community-driven framework to better understand, prevent and treat cardiovascular disease locally and across Canada.
The announcement will include the launch of a pioneering initiative, setting the stage for a defining shift in cardiovascular prevention and care in Canada.
