Erika MacPhee, RN, BNSc, MHSc(Nursing), is an experienced healthcare leader with more than 30 years of service in cardiovascular care and healthcare management. Since joining the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in 1991, she has held numerous clinical and leadership roles, including Nurse Educator, Regional Cardiac Care Coordinator, Advanced Practice Nurse, and Clinical Manager of the Heart Function Clinic.

A passionate advocate for quality improvement and patient safety, Erika has led and contributed to numerous regional and national initiatives focused on improving cardiovascular care and patient outcomes. She is a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses, and a Board Director with Ottawa Health Services Network Inc. (OHSNI).
