Davies, Richard (retired)

Dr. Richard Davies is Professor in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Background

Dr. Davies obtained his BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1971, followed by an MSc, PhD, MD and CM, all at McGill University in Montreal.

He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in 1984, and of the American College of Cardiology in 1987.

Dr. Davies has been at the Heart Institute as a Cardiologist since 1986.
